First I watched Youtube videos on how to properly blowdry hair for about an hour. Then I decided to twist my hair into some sort of Scary Spice copy in the hopes that it will fall into luscious curls tomorrow (I’m likely reaching). And then I cleaned my room, and my jewelry box, and my makeup bag, where I found this purple Revlon lipstick. So here we are.

The vernissage for Exhibition No. 8 was a roaring success with just shy of 700 people passing through our doors.
It was a truly humbling experience to experience such a turnout of quality individuals to come and see their work.
The show is not over yet!
The works will be up until this Friday April 26 2013 and tomorrow (Tuesday the 23rd) there will be some more artist talks from 1-3pm - which I hope you will be able to attend.
If you didn’t get a chance to view the work at the vernissage, please make sure you come back, we are open from 10am-5pm all week long and some of the artists are in the studio during those times.
Thank you for contributing to the success of our exhibition and your continuing support of SPAO.

This Friday is the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa’s annual student exhibition. I am in my second year and will be showing work from my visual survey of Fort Myers, Florida. I made a book of photographs, and a video of still moving pictures and they will both be shown. See the video above for an idea of what the project will look like.

Vernissage:
Friday April 19th
168 Dalhousie St., Ottawa, ON
3-9PM
